BEMET

BEMET is the alter ego of the Israeli phenomenon electronic artist – Hod Moshonov.
Moshonov was chosen by the prestige FORBES magazine to be one of the 30 promising youngsters of 2020.

Under the BEMET moniker, Hod has been steadily building momentum over the last two years, developing his unique sound signature while supporting the enormous Major Lazer, collaborating with artists like the dubstep sensation Borgore, Billboard latin award winners 3BallMTY (Triball Monterrey) and recording and arranging for Assaf Avidan latest gold album “Gold shadow”.

As a precious jazz talent from early childhood, Hod was awarded a full scholarship at Berklee College of Music aged 18 as well as being personally considered to Grammy 58th nomination for the best contemporary instrumental album as a producer for the Dor Assraf new album, and was immortalised by the New York Times for his performance on the Monk institute Jazz competition when he was 22 years old.

He recorded so far two BEMET albums under the labels ‘Inch Per second’ & ‘Time Groove selections’. His music was acknowledged and got great reviews from Brooklyn Radio and BBC radio, and the track ‘Uber Dance’ received the title “Track of the month” on Nova Radio Tokyo. BEMET also left his impression on the local scene with his Brazilian project singles (featuring MC Tommy) – ‘Happy’, ‘TudoBemet’, ‘Lotto’ & ‘Brasil’ which took the Israeli radio by storm and dazzled the media .

BEMET was discovered by the Indian audience on 2016 after a remake he made for ‘Mumbai Dance’ by the huge Indian DJ artist – Nucleya which became a net sensation.
On October 2017 BEMET released his first single/ video – ‘Sababa’, directed to his massive Indian audience. The video was shot in India during BEMET’s India tour on summer 2017 and got great reviews on the “Times of India“ and the well known EDM magazine ‘Grapevine’. His second single ‘Chicken Masala’ was released in December 2018 along with a hysteric video with famous Indian actress Sara Gurpal on the leading role.

In 2020 he released his banger with trance legend – SKAZI – Caliente under the major label ARMADA Records.
By that same year he released his latin pop hit Este Dolor with the Grammy awarded 3ballmty under the Major UNIVERSAL Mexico ( Latin Power Music )

Late summer of 2020 he became well knowm to Israeli pop market after released “Ichikidana” , there he was singing for the first time in hebrow. Ths song became an instant Tiktok Hit and Radio and top places of the Israeli Radio charts same year. Later on He Collaborated with the Lagnedry Diva singer and a number 1 Eurovision winner – Dana International

BEMET performed at coveted festivals and stages around Europe, U.S.A and Asia such as – Sunburn Festival India, ‘South by Southwest’, Paleo and Drum & Bass festival in Dresden and MTA festival in Beijing. His live show is an explosion of light and sound which has drawn comparisons with the energy of the Prodigy and the intensity of Die Antwoord next to hipness of MO & Major Lazer. BEMET is larger than life playing his custom made Key-tar, an instrument he is single handedly returning from its 80’s purgatory.

BEMET has cooperated with giant Japanese electronic musical instruments company ROLAND, and leading English electronic sound design company LOOPMASTERS to include BEMET’s sound textures in their main products.

By 2021 Moshonov reveled his new Live House/Techno Project – BEMET BEYOKER along with a 45 min live set inside the clouds and throw out the sky playing the first rave ever on a hot fly balloon. That live set video became viral popular mainly in France & Israel and attracted many views throw out the world besides the electronic scene. Same month BEYOKER released his first EP from the project – Guava.
