Jarasum Jazz Festival, held on a beautiful Island in Gapyeong every October, celebrated its 18th edition in 2021. Jarasum Jazz is a special event where people can leave their daily life and experience relaxation in picturesque surroundings. Over 18 years, more than two million guests have visited the festival, and 1157 bands from 55 countries have performed there. Jarasum Jazz was awarded the title ‘PREMIER FESTIVAL’ by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2016 and 2018. Also, Jarasum Jazz Festival is actively engaged in international exchanges and a ‘Focus Program’, signing an MOU with leading festivals.
