Hila Ruach

Hila is a writer, singer, poet, bassist and producer who released two highly critically acclaimed solo albums in Israel and gained popularity among the alternative music fiends and the wide public alike. With her unique combination of garage rock, pop, psychedelia and lyrics that reveal exposed honesty and bleeding humor, Hila was crowned as the Israeli indie queen.
Hila released her highly acclaimed debut solo album “Rofa’a Bama’arav” 4 years ago.
The album infused fresh blood to the Israeli alternative scene and proved she is here to stay.

On May 2018 Hila released her 2nd album “Advert Music” The album was made in collaboration with London based record label “Trashmouth” (Fat White Family, Warmduscher).
“Advert Music” got fantastic reviews from the media and the crowd, Placing Hila as the ‘It Girl’ of the rock and alternative scene In Israel.

Hila made her first steps in Europe performing festivals such as CONVENANZA festival (Carcassone, France) and Garzen Festival in Vilnius.
On March 2019 made a very successful debut Germany tour followed by European tours on September and November 2019.

Last November Hila and her band participated for the first time the International music showcase of the yellow submarine and their performance made a big impact on the promoters, who later contacted hila for booking the band all over Europe (fusion, iceland airwavs and more) due to the covid 19, all plans were cancelled for 2020.

These days hila is recording a new album and her first english E.P. The First single from the album ‘Superman’ was released on june 2021.
