The 12th edition Showcase brings new tidings:
a colorful week-long festival featuring all styles and genres together, on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv axis
Each year in November, dozens of music industry professionals come to Israel from all over the globe: Festival directors, venue and club owners, producers, artistic directors, record labels, journalists, writers, radio hosts, and international talent scouts. These and many others come to see, hear and experience a small taste of the Israeli music scene.
Previously, the festival had been divided into two weekends: one devoted to Rock, Indie and Electronic music, and the other to Jazz and World music.
The Showcase festival is a collaborative effort, created in cooperation between the “Yellow Submarine – The Place for Music in Jerusalem” and the Cultural Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project is also supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, and the Municipality of Jerusalem.
In 2021, still accompanied by Covid, our festival will be taking on a brand new form:
One whole spectacular week of Showcase in every style and genre!
RockNRoll, Jazz, Indie, Electronic, World, Hip Hop, Funk and Avant-Garde
There will be one extended group of guests from all aspects of the global music scene, working in many disciplines and with many different styles of music.
The festival will feature over 33 performances, alongside jam sessions, DJ sets, parties, sound and art installations, an international convention and more.
All that will be packed into one colorful week on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv axis, with approximately 50 guests from all over the world.
Our guests will experience a condensed and marvelous journey through Israeli culture and the local music scene, with its many colors and styles.
